We have all seen them. Cars sitting around rotting and they are not for sale and the owner has good intensions. Some are for sale, but are too far gone and some seem to be restorable, but the price reflects the price the owners personnal attachment. None the less, here are a some cars and or trucks that are around my area.

JEWELS IN THE ROUGH

This is one sweet line up of once a time Kustoms. They live just down the road from me and have wanted to stop there 100's of times to ask or talk about the Kustoms, but was told the owner has pulled a gun on someone. The pictures shows the cars that haven't moved in more then a decade. Cars that are not in the picture and have moved around the driveway is a two tone 55 belair convert and a black 56/57 thunderbird. Maybe 1 day, I'll take a gamble and walk up to his door with a white flag waving and ask about that green scaloped Kustom. I DIG IT !!
This black and purple Ford was for sale for many many years. I stopped one day and talked to the owner (actually the owners father) and he wanted 3 or 4 grand, but the car had inches of bondo and the flat head was in pieces in boxes in a barn. No doubt this could have been a cool cruser and I really like the flame job, but the body work this car needed would break the bank for me and I have too many projects as is.
Now this Ford F1 was in a wooded area which is being developed and already has a major freeway exit running through it, but I noticed it one winter and thought it might be neat to just take a look at it. I don't know if there was a salvagable part on this poor truck, but was neat to just see it and wonder how long this truck had been sitting. In the last 2 years someone has removed it, probably for clearing out the wooded area for development.
